During national Transport Month in October, Mobalyz set out to uplift local communities through activities that drive access and empower learners and educators. Transport Month is celebrated annually to raise awareness about the importance of mobility for the South African economy, and the intersection between mobility and access to education cannot be understated.  

At Mobalyz, we not only impact communities and people through our innovation in mobility and vehicle asset finance, which enables continued affordable and accessible transport for South African commuters daily — we are also committed to driving meaningful change and making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.

We are pleased to have successfully handed over 200 pairs of school shoes and drawstring bags to learners at Munene Primary School in Limpopo. Mobalyz staff and key stakeholders gathered at the school for the handover and to spend some time with the learners. We received a heartfelt note from Principal Norah Mina: “Thank you so much for what you have done for Munene. This is our first experience since I started working here. You guys are a blessing, and may God richly bless you. May this not only be for Munene Primary.”  

In addition, Mobalyz also handed over a bus to St. Vincent School for the Deaf in Rosebank, Johannesburg. With this initiative, we recognise that we can play a role in contributing towards inclusivity and accessibility, providing reliable transport for students with disabilities.  

These initiatives highlight our commitment to making a difference in the lives of people through access to reliable transportation and addressing educational needs within our communities, thereby opening doors to further study and employment opportunities.

The Mobalyz team is also dedicated to continuing supporting such initiatives, working with local schools to help build a future where more children can reach their potential, regardless of location or circumstance.
